Everyone is looking for something.
Looking for something to hold on to
To explain what is going on
To throw more light on the depth of our situation
Sometimes we’re strong,
And we can figure it out on our own
Sometimes we’re ok,
Even when our guts tell us that we’re not.
Most times we just crave company,
We wish to banish the loneliness
And pray desperately that someone will understand
That someone will help us get through.
But there is beauty in this search,
We may find solace in the wrong things
Or see others crash and burn with the same symptoms
But undoubtedly, there is one Way to look at it:
In our search for that thing; for something,
we’re never really alone.
