Fire and Ice… Part IV

So this poem was never meant to be a series. I thought it would be cool to post them in succession of each other,  It was a personal poem I wrote about a struggle I had caused, sooner or later, there will be a post dedicated to that experience and what it taught me. 🙂 Hope you enjoyed the ‘poetic series’


She saw a heart caged with ancient bones

A heart surrounded by mist and hail.

She saw ashes and vapour in that cage,

then

The dream was over.

The tide rescinded

She lay awake on his chest.

and he had put the war to rest.
